Dancing in Asia..Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, January 5 to April 5, 2019 .
I left Vancouver to Vietnam to begin 3 months of teaching, dance, mainly Contact Dance Improvisation and Creating dance work.
First I went to Dak Nong a province in the North of Vietnam. There I worked for 10 days as a volunteer dance and yoga teacher at Maison Chance an orphanage with 125 children from the many ethnic groups existing in the area.
Returned to Ho Chi Min City to teach Contact improvisation to adults, for a full week students came to be introduced to contact Dance. They were thrilled.
Continued to Bangkok Thailand, was invited to teach CI in a ballet school and in budhist monastery.
participated in a dance film in the water and danced daily contact dance in water.
went to Koh Pangan and thaught CI.
After a month in Thailand, i travelled to Seoul Korea, where i stayed 6 weeks teaching CI and Yoga.
Resumed my trip by going back to Ho Chi Min and teaching another week of dance and yoga.
A great experience to share my love and knowledge of Dance with the world.
I feel loved and deeply touched by the hospitality and kindness of the people.
